Breakfast and aperitif

To begin the day in perfect harmony and ready for a day of discovery of our corner of Tuscany. Simona's apple tart goes along her blackberry and pine-nuts pie, natural yogurt, and organic cereals. Fresh cheeses and meats from local farmers go along lighter products like fruit and vegetables. Strictly home-made jams will go on top of our spelt or stone-ground flour breads. A pleasant awakening for all five senses!

For an aperitif or just a creamy cappuccino, Stefano will warmly welcome you at the bar or on the terrace, don't forget though that we are inside an old olive mill, so our favorite snack is bruschetta with Tuscan olive oil together with a glass of a good red wine.


Dinner

The cuisine of a Locanda is simple and genuine, but never dull: dishes from the culinary tradition of Cortona and the now rare menu of the day. Yours will be the pleasure of discovering our traditional cuisine paired to great wines.

The Chianina beef steak and the roast of Cinta Senese pork flavored by aromatic and wild herbs are our winning dishes. Fowl cooked with Tuscan spices and seasonal fruits complete our menu, to please those in search of old flavors that tell the story of our land.
